Smoking Cessation – If You Want to Stop Smoking For Real Start the Smoking Cessation Method Now!

*** Do Not Quit Smoking! Click Here ***

Ok the smoking cessation method is out… no more secrets no more mystery…. no hype… no big deal… the whole process when you finally stop smoking will knock your socks off. Spread the word, any one and everyone can stop smoking today.

Yes everything you have read above is true. You might ask yourself, why is it not being promoted all over the world on every TV channel, in every newspaper, or all over the internet. The plain and simple answer to that is, there is no money to be made in the smoking cessation process, because you do not have to buy anything, you do not have to subscribe to anyone for them to show you how. I am sure that some bright spark will probably find a way to monetize it, but it cannot be done globally with massive profits, so the industry decides to ignore it.

So I guess its left to me to tell you about it, and you might ask me why? my answer is, it stopped me smoking and it cost me nothing and it is so simple that the world and its mother could do with something free at the moment.

So here it is, the smoking cessation method according to my understanding of it is.

You must dismiss from your mind the fear you have of actual stopping smoking. ( I will explain later) You must really want to stop smoking You must really want to be happier and live longer You must believe that you will stop smoking You Stop

The biggest issue for all smokers is the fear of how hard life will be while they are in the process of smoking cessation.

This is rooted in the belief, by smokers that a lot of the pleasurable things in life have to have a cigarette to accompany it. They refuse to accept that these pleasures have been infiltrated by the smoking habit and its master ‘Nicotine’. This happens over a period of time, the nicotine with all its chemicals, produces serotonin which is a pleasure drug for the brain and it masks a lot of the harmful side effects it causes.

But what the smoker has forgotten is that there was a time when all these wonderful life pleasures were enjoyed without smoking.

Life after smoking cessation is wonderful, ask anyone who has achieved it, they will more than motivate you.

And as for the withdrawal symptoms that can occur after stopping smoking, there are very good stop smoking aids which will help you along with the process of smoking cessation.

The Author recommends that you DO NOT Quite Smoking. There’s a healthier alternative to it. To know more, please click here.

The Basic Truth About Smoking Cessation

*** Do Not Quit Smoking! Click Here ***

An epidemic that poses great dangers to the world can rightly be said to be nicotine addiction. While it very dangerous, it can easily be prevented unlike other epidemics.

Billions of people, the world over, are addicted to it; while many have tried to quit but failed. I hope to substantiate the facts concerning this addiction whilst showing the ways of how to cope with the effects of a type of smoking cessation. The easiest phase is to make up your mind to quit smoking. But to let go off the cigarette can pose great challenges. It is however understandable that those smokers did light a cigarette or two while waiting in public places, or when stuck in a snarl, after a never-ending flight – just for the sake of reducing tension.

The foremost question that comes to mind is: “Does smoking cigarettes reduce or completely remove the stress of everyday life?” Most people are afraid of quitting for a variety of reasons. I will address some of the anxieties common to smokers that are trying hard to quit.

Tremendous Weight gain

Some smokers think they would gain tremendous weight if they quit smoking. This fear is rational because it has been found among more than seventy percent of people who quit. However, gaining weight is not as a result of quitting. When a cigarette is smoked, the nicotine releases blood sugar into the blood stream. As a result, most smokers skip their meals and look skinny.

After quitting, the body would no longer be able to manage lengthy hours of starvation, and many of them might experience hypoglycemia in the first week. This can be prevented by eating heavily; and that is why weight gain occurs.

The fear of withdrawal symptoms

It is true that withdrawal from smoking is not so comfortable, but the symptoms don’t last long. After about a week, they are gone. This happens because smoking has made your body believed it depended on it. After some time, it is only normal, that your body would readjust to this state.

Stress from everyday life

Once again, smoking has made you deceived your body that you need those cigarettes to deal with the stress of everyday life. Can you recollect when you didn’t smoke at all? How did you manage the stress of everyday life? Now that you are smoking, has the level of stress reduced? Undeniably, the stress is still there and has not reduced an inch – even now that you smoke to relieve stress. The only method of quitting is to simply put your heart to it. It might sound simple, but it’s the basic truth.

A lot of other options can be used to stop smoking, but what really worked for me was the natural means. It actually made me quit faster as it was more effective than normal anti-smoking commodities. As a result, I felt healthier. I can only wish you good luck in your decision and challenges ahead.

The Author recommends that you DO NOT Quite Smoking. There’s a healthier alternative to it. To know more, please click here.

Reasons to quit the smoke and booze don’t do me like before
And I’m hardly ever sober and my old friends don’t come around much anymore
Reasons to quit below it always lower than the high
And the reasons to quit don’t out number all the reasons why
So we keep smokin’ and we keep drinkin’ havin’ fun and never thinkin’
Laughin’ at the price tags that we pay
And we keep rollin’ down the fast lane like two young men feelin’ no pain
And the reasons for quittin’s gettin’ bigger each day

Reasons to quit I can’t afford the habit all the time
I need to be sober I need to write some new songs that will rhyme
Reasons to quit they have no rhyme or reason when you’re high
And the reasons to quit don’t out number all the reasons why
We keep smokin’ and we keep drinkin’…
And the reasons for quittin’s gettin’ bigger each day

Phillip Torrone of Make magazine posted an article about making spacers out of paper that I found quite interesting. I had no idea.

A spacer is a sort of carburetor for an asthma inhaler — they’re used by children and retarded people who have trouble learning how to do the inhaling thing. It’s harder than it looks. And an asthma attack can make you short on oxygen and long on adrenochrome — coordination and rational thought kind of go out the window. (I had asthma for a couple years after I quit smoking — something they don’t put in the pamphlets.)

Anyhow, the one in the article was a little too pepakura for my taste, so I rolled my own out of a piece of A4. No cuts, of course.

When you think of a healthy lifestyle picture in your mind, no where in that picture do you see yourself smoking. So why are you still smoking? Let me tell you about the process of smoking cessation, this is a process to help you stop smoking. Many smokers who have quit smoking over the years have quit using this method and they did not even know they were using it, suffice to say it is the most natural way to kick the habit of smoking.

Smoking cessation is only the name of the process, its actually free to use and it works with everybody who uses it, when they decide that they really want to stop smoking. They become successful at quitting smoking when they realize that the one thing that has prevented them from quitting all these years is the fear of quitting.

Once that fear has been overcome, its just the physical symptoms of withdrawal that have to be beaten.

The symptoms that you may experience are nothing to get upset about, just so you know what you might know what to expect I will list the most common suspects below.

Fatigue. Irritability. rashes on the skin. Possible weight gain. Sleep disruption. cramping and abdominal pain. Diarrhea Constipation.

They all sound bad don’t they, but realistically they don’t last long and there are some very good stop smoking aids available which will cushion you from the worst of the effects. Just so you and other smokers know these symptoms are produced by your body as a way of finally detoxing itself of those horrible cigarette toxins, including that very addictive drug nicotine.

When you have successfully stopped smoking using the smoking cessation method, you will ask yourself what was all that stop smoking hul a baloo about, it was easy!

The Author recommends that you DO NOT Quite Smoking. There’s a healthier alternative to it. To know more, please click here.

My 2007 year in review

It’s better BIGGER…

This year has been pretty awesome. It started in January, when I took a super secret trip down to LA for my birthday. My friend Tracy took me to Disneyland & Magic Mountain, and we met up with Kim, Cris & Julie for sushi dinner at Tokyo Delves. =)

In February, I moved in with my friend Will & introduced Sid to his kitten Judy.

In March, I met Rachel-B while working on Class With Dave assignments.

In April, I was pulled over for having expired tabs & found out that my license had been suspended. *laugh* It took a few months to get everything paid to get my license back.

In May, I took another trip down to LA for the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. While down there, I stopped by Star Wars Celebration 4 & met Montine.

In June, I broke up with Skeie, quit smoking & asked Montine out for dinner. =)

July 2nd was the date of my name change, from Jason Michael to Jason Megatron.

In August, Montine went to Peru, then came back.

In September, I got to meet Weird Al when we performed with him at his concert.

In October, Montine & I moved in to our apartment in Ballard together.

November brought Rock Band!

December has been awesome with Christmas and our 6 month anniversary. =)

That’s the long & short of it. I’ll add more later.

6- «Grande gueule» me décrit bien.

- – -

I’ve been tagged by: Michel Filion
So here goes:

1- I’m a Hungarian, born and still living in Montreal. So I learned English as a second language and French as a third.

2- My girlfriend and I each have a son named Matthew, and the couple who introduced us (in a funeral parlour, no less!) also have a son with the same name.

3- My nerdyness score in this test is 95 (i.e. I’m nerdier than 95% of the general population.

4- My Flickr friends (mostly from the Photo Safari Montreal group) just love to play photographic tricks on me (See example pics with links below)… but I tend to return the favour…

5- I tend to keep my friends for a very long time. My best male friend and I go back to 1957, almost 52 years!. With my best female friend, it’s only (!) 1970 and we sort of adopted each other as brother & sister.

6- "Motormouth" describes me pretty well. Some see it as a fault, I on the other hand consider it an advantage . Either way, I didn’t have too much of a choice in the matter, being an only child, it was either that or live like a hermit. LOL

7- Not relevant for English speakers – I don’t find French-Canadian Stand up humour funny

8- I loved my youth in the late 60s & early 70s, at least the parts I remember…

9- My best trip was visiting Hungary in 2007. It took me 53 years to get there. Everyone there was surprised I still spoke Hungarian even though I had never set foot in the country before. Photos

10- I miss my motorcycle, but now living in a second floor flat and no garage, it was best I sell it.

11- If it were still sold in Canada, my car would be a Renault "Le Car" (AKA Renault-5), having owned 3 of them in the past…

12- Being a lifelong Montrealer (except for the last year of my marriage), I tend to consider the whole privince of Quebec as "Montreal and the surrounding countryside".

13- I have quite a few separatist/nationalist/etc… friends, even though I’m a staunch federalist, even "worldist".

14- My ideal multi-course meal: A good single malt Scotch, Bagel & Lox from St-Viateur Bagel, DiLallo Burger, Schwartz’s smoked meat, my own Spaghetti sauce, one or two éclairs with [real] whipped cream not that custard junk, and a long expresso coffee.

15- I find *all* religions (including the one I was born into) as totally useless, even dangerous.

16- I’ve been trying to quit smoking soince 1972… The tobacco industry should pay for my funeral as one of their best all-time customers

.

Morristown Memorial Smoking Ban
I don’t know what the solution is to this; I understand why the hospital wants to ban smoking, but it is totally gross to walk on Franklin Street now. The whole back side public sidewalk and street is a long sad smoking area, littered with thousands of cig butts that get washed down the storm drains when it rains.

Maybe they could move this smoking area to the top of a parking garage? Maybe more likely to quit if you have to walk up 5 flights of stairs?

The "Knocked Up" star, 30, has been desperately trying to wean herself off the addiction for months after realizing smoking was taking over her life.
